I am a Galician guitarist who currently lives on the island of Gran Canaria where I work as a musician.
I studied classical guitar at the “Conservatorio de Grao medio de Melide” (A Coruña) and jazz and modern music at «Estudio» Escola de música (Santiago de Compostela).
I also finished two higher diplomas (VET) in Sound Design and Audiovisual Show Production (IES Puerta Bonita, Madrid and the EIS of A Coruña).
I have taken lessons with Serafín Carballo and Alberto Penoucos (modern guitar in Jazz), Marcos Teira (flamenco guitar), Abe Rábade (composition and arrangements), Suso Atanes (modern harmony and improvisation and ear training), Javier Constenla (piano) , LAR Legido (rhythmic training), among other musicians. Likewise, I have atttended different seminars and master classes with: Jorge Pardo, Jens Winter, Barry Harris, Boby Martínez, Alberto Cereijo, Cecil Bridgewater y Chris Kase.
Apart from that, I have developed part of my professional career on filming and the TV industry.
I have also taught guitar, harmony and improvisation at the music academy «Ars Nova» (Melide), at the modern school music «Center Of Rock» (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) and as a private teacher for years.
At present I hold specialized masterclasses of percussive guitar.
I played in different representative bands and collaborated with artists of great reputation such as the singer Ugia Pedreira and the flamenco guitarist Iván García. This experiencie has enabled me to know different genres like rock, jazz, flamenco, contemporary, popular, electronic, world music…
In 2016 I started my career as a fingerstyle guitar soloist. I offer two different proposals of repertoire:
One is designed for concert halls, live music bars, pubs or music festivals.
The other one is for warm atmospheres and relaxation spaces such as hotels, piano bars, restaurants, cocktails, lounge bars or auditoriums.
Currently, I mainly work at hotels, luxury resorts and cruise ships both as a freelance and a collaborator for several management agencies such as Romantic Corporate, Music Time Canarias SLU, New Way Management, Nordeste Music and Queen Pro Art.
